Description
Drizzt Do'Urden and Catti-brie sail upon the sea of swords. Theirâ??s was a love which could not be. Drizzt is a Dark Elf, or â??Drowâ??, and Catti-brie, a Human woman raised by the Dwarves.
Drizzt, created by R. A. Salvatore, is possibly the greatest fantasy character ever written.
If you only read one series in your entire life, make it The Legend of Drizzt.

Great scene and reference. For those of you who like the graphic novels, Check out the entire series at your local comic book store, if they don't have it they can order it for you. If I remember correctly, the publisher is DDP (Devil's Due Publishing). It is a great series and the illustrations are fantastic. Back to your image, Lotus253, well done!

Thanks! Drizzt books are actually full novels. Later, some were made into graphic novels, though I have never actual read them. There are something like 20 novels for Drizzt.

My very first thought was "Awwww, aren't they really sweet together". As a huge fan, thanks for the books that started it all by the way, there are not many pictures to be found of D and C together. Lovely expression on Catti's face. I agree with M, Drizzt is not as realistically rendered, but your female characters are so extraordinary, who can complain?

Beautiful, romantic render! Much as I love R. A. Salvatore's work, I have to cast my own vote for Christie Golden's work and her character of Jander Sunstar. ;-) Yes, I have to be a pill!
