Description
Well i've been reworking the drider, and I added a segment to the leg, i knew something looked off, so i went and looked up spider anatomy to see why the legs looked off, sure enough, all together the legs have a total of 7 segments / parts. So now the legs look abit better i think.
As always any input and suggestions are welcome. I'm remapping everything as well to combine some of the maps together, so ignore the textures right now, still have to make textures to the new maps.
I rebuilt the body thorax segment, and gave it a little more shape then the previous one, I think it looks good, and i also lined up the pixel points for it so that they line up with v4's abdomen, The thorax's polys match v4's polys.
Sorry about the small image, its just a screen capture from Cinema4D, haven't moved the model into poser yet, still thinking about what I could do to improve it.
[EDIT] as suggested by Razor42, I made the legs shorter for the model, I like it better now actually, thank you for the suggestion Razor42

Looks great, but I would say the spider body seems a little dominant(Large) Compared to the V4 torso. I haven't really seen a Drider lately so I guess there appearance is open for interpretation. Though I would consider making the spider section a little smaller, maybe just enough to bring V4s shoulders above the highest point of the legs. With the current proportions she would find it rather awkward if not impossible to wield any kind of weapon. If Drider's are known to use weapons... Anyways, Just a suggestion. I really like the way this one is progressing and look forward to seeing the finished version.

@Razor - Hi thanks for the input, I'll shorten up the leg partitions, they were in length to the spider mass for the body form, but yep your right it would be pretty hard to do anything but wield a gun/bow with them legs, so i'll do that (keeping the old legs off to the side) and post another picture. Thanks for the input :)
