Description
After playing around with Octane Render for a few weeks, this is the first result I like to show you.
Workflow: Poser 2014 > Octane Render 10000 S/P 4:20 hours 1 mesh light (the window) + HDR > no postwork (exept sig).
Could probably have stopped at 5000 S/P but let it run overnight and didn't want to come up short :-)
All resources bought or made by me except for the HDR which is free from hdrlabs.com

nice work on the scene accoutrements, the light coming in through the window looks great, as do all the shadows, but difficult to appreciate the skin texture as the zoom isn't quite big enough. Octane looks interesting

Thanks for the comment Paul. After a few more experiments I'm working on, I'm planning a series of portraits to see how the different skins in my library work out in Octane. They'll need adapting though, because Octane has a can't use the Poser procedurals and has another system to implement SSS. This one is without SSS by the way, and still looks pretty good, but you'd have to see it in a larger format. But if you don't want to wait for my stuff head on over to deviantart.com and search for "octane", there is some fantastic work to be found. Or here at R'osity have a look at the work Rgus produced the last couple of weeks.
