Description

This is currently pinned into the soil of a potted plant in my mother's home. It was baked with a sewing needle in it. I was originally using the needle only to hold it up, but when I showed my mom, she suggested I leave it in so that it could be poked into a plant's soil. I gave it to her, and now that's what it's doing. Made using Sculpey clay, pearlescent powders brushed on before being baked, glaze/sealer, and those wings are actually the little propeller things that fall from those types of trees. Sorry, I don't know what they're called. I was originally going to spraypaint the wings silver, but I liked them better in their natural brown. Hooray for me for actually using a digital camera to take the photo this time, and not a webcam, and hooray for me also for assembling the images in a pleasant manner.
