I really like this picture and yet it disturbs me. It is something about the way the robots look kind of like people wearing skin tight suits but then also look like robots an illusion that flips back and forth in the mind's eye. The posing is fantastic mechanical yet simoultaneously organic. Then it has the whole adam and eve thing. What knowledge is contained within that tree or what life? Then it's made by a computer and being viewed on a computer by a person(maybe). So it's multiple meta levels of human/machine machine/human flipping back and forth. I guess that's part of what is distantly troubling my subconcious. This image hints at future myths of humanity meeting AI. It is exciting and yet a bit frightening to think of that evolution which will by necessity include extinction. I'm probably rambling because it is way past my bedtime. Very striking work!

Hmm, good question! I love the very crisp look here, just inspired with the posing too, mirrored and looking at one another. The tree element is lovely, and Vashek is right it does have a sense of art nouveau panel work, although in a completely modern interpretation! Fantastic!
