sadly in what passes for Trumps mind, a statement saying the US government is committing billions results in instantaneous delivery of products and goods. Has no one broken the news to him that Star Trek and the machines on it showing the instant production of food and goods aren't real??
Yes, it's a disheartening sight, and it's everywhere. You especially feel it in big cities (Dallas, Chicago, etc.) But I must say, the photo is marvelous, with all those perspective lines, and all that light in the back (contained in glass). The yellow tape has a real artistic flow, and I love the different colored stools and chairs. I'm not taking away from the content of your shot, I just can't 'not' notice how fine a shot it is. I think anytime a place (building or city) is abandoned, it always has photographic potential. Fine shot, of a sad reality. In black and white, this could almost pass for a Depression Era shot.
