A relatively simple diamond ring at first glance, created using standard subdivision surface modeling techniques. However, the diamond itself was done, in part, using Fracture Voronoi Maxscript, to create "solid" facets that extend through the object's interior volume. I think this technique helps give the diamond material a bit more depth, and interesting internal caustics and dispersion.
