Description

Thanks for the tips guys, Looks much better... I also added a small fill light in front by the camera at about 10% because her face was lost in the shadows due to the single bulb and the light coming through the window..... the darn wide brim hat cast a wide shadow hiding the top 1/2 of her in deeps shadow...... But as I think on it that may not have been a bad thing either.. air of Mystery???? appreciate the help, lighting and how it works in the 3D world is one of those things I'm still trying to understand..

Great looking scene!... the play with light and shadow is , phenomenal!.. like that it's in black and white, kind of an old movie.. nicely done!

Hey guy, thanks for the shout out. This really does look much more like a finished piece. Everything comes together much better. Lighting is something that continually needs tweaking and even when you think you got it, BAMM, it's back to the old drawing board, so to speak. And then you have to decide B&W or color. IT NEVER ENDS!

Looking much better Don and seeing the building in the background really adds depth...kool ! In the Poser render settings, click the indirect lighting button in the manual tab and then go back to the advanced tab and render, this will light up those really dark areas, works a bit like radiosity and you render will take longer, but it's worth the wait, just a suggestion. Neat re-post & ~Cheers~

I like the render and it does have a thick mood. I like how the shirt fits him. I forgot his name, but I have him. I agree about the pov working really well
