Description

Hello all... Sorry I have not been posting over the last handful of months. I am slowly getting back into the swing of things. Unlike my last post which was just an edited game screen shot, this one is actually a full image done by me. The armor is Bone Armor by RunDNA. The rest is native Vue. Rendered in Vue. Postwork (texture effects and addition of my name)in microsoft's PhotoDraw V2. Thanks for looking and as always, comments and tips welcomed. Happy New Year everyone, --Eryk

i took your advice Rodluc2001, and uploaded it as a 1024X768 image. Also, it seems the image is too dark for a lot of people. The concept is for a dark image, but you should be able to see the silhouette of some mountains and bare trees near the middle and top pf the image, as well as the upper portion of a critter, in red lighting, to the middle-right side of the image. I just found out that my monitors are set a bit brighter then most, which is why so many of my dark images have been commented on in the past as "I can't see anything" :( If you want to see this image properly, adjust your monitor's contrast and brightness setting to be both in the 80's or 90's (or any where from 3/4 to full power). Then you should see it as I described it above. Sorry for the trouble. I will render images with different settings in the future.

i like your very dark image, i think the atmosphere so "noir" is correct and no other modification are necessary, for me is a really interesting concept, better than many images with landscape lot of tree and flowers...

A creepy image, the darkness enhances it, I think and the shadows make me wonder what nasty thing is lying in wait. Love the postwork too!

The darkness does give it a certain mystery, love the shadows against the green sky. Excellent work...
