Description

Will be continuing the Birthday posts for Dad through the weekend. Today's image is another unique and unusual lake, Crater Lake NP. The kids and I are on the Park service ferry getting a lake level tour and lecture about the geology of the crater and it's history For those that are new to the gallery I will link below to an earlier image from this trip for it's narrative. To see "the" Birthday post yesterday, please visit the gallery. A great weekend to all! To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2353431.jpg

What an absolutely stunning landscape/lakescape this is; I've never seen it in person, although I was close at one point in the winter of 1975, when my car died up there...superb work for your dad's birthday!

Superb composition. Catching the wake was a good move. Couldn't make the climb down last time. I have been exercising my brains out lately so maybe next time.
