Description

My version of Richard Corben's characters Den and Katherine from the original Heavy Metal magazines and movie. I suppose this image screams "big boob alert" but I think I actually went a bit smaller than Corben usually did with Kath. And although Corben's Den usually walked around au natural, I decided to follow the lead of the movie (and thus avoid a "Big Penis Alert"), where Den said, "There was no way I was going to walk around this place with my dork hanging out!". It was fun to work on. I used Daz's Freak and V4, rendered in Bryce. I went back and forth a thousand times on how saturated I wanted the lighting, but finally had to decide on something and call it done. Thanks for peekin' - Will

Les poses et les couleurs sont très réussies. Même le grain donne un aspect "bande dessinée".

this is great, I remember the characters. Yes she is a bit smaller, they may also be slightly lighter skinned but this is great!

I love to see you posting pieces again Will! You didn't ask for critique on this one, so I'm going to leave that part out (if you want thoughts zip me an email). I will say that you've managed the lighting/background/sky relationship perfectly! I hope you're well and we'll see more and more from you because I've missed you. A

Nice take on an old classic. I loved Corbin's work in the day and have several of his books which included work with DEN AND Kath. Did a few takes myself a while back but lost the series with a computer death. I hate computers! love Corbin and now your work!
