Have a continued great weekend. We have had beautiful sunshine and pretty warm for this time of the year. Only, it was so windy. Not so fun for the neighbors who have been working on their roof all day.
HMM... they resize my picture to something bigger than it is, so now I have changed it to my own bigger image, which isnt so blured. Lets see what happens then............Well that did´t help a bit, so I will change it back. It looks much more clear on my computer. Better to overlook it, when it isnt too big.

Simply loverly in this ample paint job of the demure young lady in her gardenlike environs, Helle. Renderosity often increases my work to a zoomlike size. I've tried reducing and posting it again, but to no avail; it still comes out the same size. All you can do is scroll up and down.

I"m sorry the site is messing with your image sizes. I hadn't noticed it on mine, but maybe it happened on other people's computers. That's maddening...it's hard enough to deal with those smaller sizes, but when they mess up the zoom, it's too much. Your washes and hues are lush, here, the purple of the blouse or dress is beautiful against her pale skin tones; and you put pinks into her face which harmonize. (We see some of those pinks in her clothes too.) Her hair is high and highlighted with light browns and peach hues. And you liberally use white drawing-lines throughout, including in her hair. ANd I love the dots on her skin---from the dots behind her? The background is another of your complex pattern and floral backgrounds, with cartoonish elements, formal elements, drawing and painting elements, and I assume some gelli elements. It's a very airy open background, and by putting her down into the frame, you let it speak. A refreshing buoyant painting with a quiet beauty, and lots of playful forms around this sensitive portrait. I love that purple, and all the gradations you put into it. A breath of spring air, Helle.
Helle, I'm at something like 50 minutes in your gallery, and I have to move on. But between yesterday and today, I covered a lot, if not nearly all. It's always a great pleasure to comment in your gallery. Despite your eye problems, you continue to put out wonderful art, one piece after the next. I hope your eye gets better, so you don't have to do it with impediments. And I hope per is doing better, too. I'll write soon (when I'm finished on RR this week!). Wonderful to be here, as always!
