Description

This is the skull of a Deinonychus antirrhopus, ‘Terrible Claw’. I fleshed it out in Lightwave (no pun intended). The model was then sculpted and textured in Zbrush. This was a quick session last night, inspired by an image of a real fossil that I stumbled across. I can’t vouch for its complete accuracy, as I only had the one reference photo. I had to guess the rear insertion point of the spinal area at the back of the skull. Something different...... but, I like to model anything..... Regards, Jet

Really nice work. Your accuracy looks excellent, especially for working from only one reference. Would love to see you offer this for sale.
