thanks so much folks, your words are indeed very kind! Yes, I always loved this movie, you can still watch it and take the technology seriously. Those designers really did a fantastic job of visualizing the future. Ev3rMOr3, I made this model from scratch. It could be that Bambam also has made one or else found one off the net. Personally, I make all of my own models because I believe that it is important to do so to be a fully accomplished 3d artist.

Very nice modeling,I also created the Discovery1 but in Bryce from scratch, If you want you can check mine out in a lot greater detail at my web site, especially the spine section and AE-35 communication antenna and nuclear engines.
