Description

I wonder why things generally come in threes? Maybe because that's the most you can do without boring everyone? Anyway, here's the third and final in the small series. I may post a triptych tomorrow, but that doesn't count. This model is one I haven't often (if ever) posted here before. It's actually a stupidly detailed model with buildings with lit windows and grass areas inside the cylinder part of the ship. Maybe I'll post a closer version in the future. I wanted it to seem alien which is why it has the four glowing orbs which are propulsion rather than more normal engines. Thanks for the comments on the previous two images.

Fantastic render! Did you make that background, too? It looks so good it could have come from Hubble!

I think the nebula probably was a hubble picture. Found in public domain somewhere. I just tweaked the hue and saturation, added a few stars and the planets.
