Description

Another chopper theme shot with swedish gothic model Sindra Clandestine. The motorcycle is a modified Harley Davidson softail. Postworked in Photoshop. This time I put an abandoned factory (brick or tiling factory, can't remember) as a background. No flash was used due to the large chrome areas on the motorcycle. And again, the postwork on this series of images was never an attempt to create realism. I wanted to create a sense of fantasy art much like a movie poster.

If this was a studio shoot, I'd think it would be setup to capture the entire motorcycle. Why is the chopper cutoff? Seem like part of the image is missing. I mean the subjects are the Harley and the model...right? I just don't understand the way its composed. The logo on the bottom has me wonderin' too! Is that yours?

L8RDAZE, First, yes it's mine. I just used different nicks on my 3D Renders and my photography. If you compare the logos on my 3D Renders and my photos you'll see a clear resemblence. And yes you are right, I could have arranged the photo better so I could get the entire Harley into the picture. I was using a wide lens (18 - 55). The Studio was too small to use my 200, it was simply not enough room to back up. So the result became somewhat of a proportion issue, the front wheel appeared really huge. That's actually the biggest reason to why the picture is cut. You can still see on the picture that everything is getting much smaller to the right.

While good, I too would prefer the whole bike to be in the pic and maybe a downward angle so as to not cover the girls face with the mirror.
