C'mon folks all this does hurt the community spirit and who benefits in the end??? Definitely not art!!!! All this work belong with the very best in the showcase!! Not relegated to backwaters of a gallery!! I defintely think that the ranking system should be redone to be based on cummulative rather then average! That way no single person can hijack the opinion of all else!!!!

I agree with rockmore. Although I don't think it's fair to say that "this piece has only gotten 10's, so we're not going to let anyone post anything less than that anymore," it also isn't fair to see a picture that has 21 rankings of 10 and one 9 get a lower position in the gallery than pieces that have only 6 rankings. The gallery Best Rankings really should take into account quantity as well as value. This picture is definitely one of the best.
