Hey there Rendo friendo's, I'm surprised I got anything done recently, as my HD is about to die and I can't back it up in any way, shape or form, so I'm just ignoring the warnings til it turns into a gooey mess on my desk....
What's worse, I had ordered a new PC and I'm still waiting 3 months on, I even got the case in 3 days from another supplier to move things along, but I'm still waiting...arggh NUTS !
I did manage to get the old beast to do another fluid dynamics simulation, but playing back the rendered animation is a stop and go affair, so it's hard to tell if it will look right when I put it all together in another mini-movie presentation, so I'll just do what I usually do when it all goes pear-shaped and keep on plugging away, cause I ain't gonna be beat by a bunch of 0's and 1's !...LOL

Need to get a SSD, they fail quietly without the noise of the disk heads pinging off the inside of the case. Hope the situation improves soon.

3 Months!! That's a bit excessive Jeff. My new rig only took 10 days from me sending the company that built it, my spec to getting it delivered. (I even got a free pen too )

I'd like to see an animation but to speak the truth you can do more with a Limpy Machine then most people can with a brandy new machine.....Real renderers don't need no stinking 1s and 0s they just threaten their old puters with a hammer.....

Those space ships look well equipped and dangerous.
As does the armoured equipment below as it shoots out its missiles.
The dry desert on top is amazing and like how the hovers are kicking up dust.
It appears the vehicle on the bottom is travelling over rocks and has to go a lot slower.
This is amazing work on a worn out machine, guessing you can hardly wait for the newbie.
Will be looking forward to see what you do with it !

Hope you at least got your files backed up. I'm not looking forward to when this beast melts down. I still need to get a second drive, preferably a big one, and transfer stuff to it. Yech.
I love those missile turrets! All you need to do is paint them Mars red.
