Description

Here is a closer view of yesterdays post. Once the berries are removed from their vines they are floated towards one end of the cranberry bog, then sucked up into a conveyor that loads the berries in a waiting tractor trailer unit. Thank you for taking the time to view and comment.

Great info and photo - thanks! I LOVE fresh craberries and am always said when the season ends and I have to resort to dried for the remainder of the year. Had no idea it was so labor intensive, I'll eat them slower ;p

I think this is amazing to see. Glad you could capture the harvest. I always hand picked any I found and was glad to get enough before the frost damaged them. Excellent series captures.

Fascinating! We have cranberry bogs in this area (south of here, and out toward the coast) but I've never seen them harvesting. Thanks!

I find this marvelous and the information is outstanding. I have not seen this vine they grow on. The harvest though is like wrangling cattle only this is done with berries!
