Corae: I found the kids – and Bobby is with them… I think that’s Bobby, he’s dressed sort of like a Hawk. I bet they went into that town to get some treats.
Trey: That’s what normal kids would have been doing, but not them. I just heard it on the radio, Bobby crawled down a well to save a kid with a broken leg that had fallen in.
Corae: Oh, he’s a hero.
Trey: It doesn’t stop there. While he was down there, the ancient Crow gods tested him and he passed with such flying colors they gave him some ancient weapon – something called a Talon Dagger.
Corae: I did a paper on the Talon Dagger. The legends say it was given to the Crows by the Crow Goddess, but I found some writings that suggest it was built with one of the first A.I.’s and a miniature skip engine. The weapon was eventually made illegal because of the A.I.
Trey: Lovely, he is in possession of a powerful and illegal weapon.
Corae: Trey, I don’t know why you’re so angry, but I’m landing this ship. I want to see Bobby and find out what’s been going on.
Trey: Why am I angry? I’m angry because I know Andy wouldn’t want Bobby mixed up with the Ravens, or the Hawks, or any of this.
Corae: Yet Andy married a Raven. You’re not taking into account what the mother might have wanted for Bobby.
Trey: Well, I guess it’s not really my call anymore, is it.
Corae: You need to get it together. Don’t you dare let Bobby get one hint that you are not 100% behind him and his choices. – I’m serious, Trey.
Trey: Okay, I hear you.
Corae: You know what I think? I don’t think you’re mad about the choices Bobby is making. I think you’re mad because you got your ego handed to you on a platter by Bobby’s grandfather.
Trey: Are you going to land or not?
Corae: You better behave.
Trey: Yes, mother.
Corae: I’m serious.
