I had these before! I've picked up a couple 4 years ago! Came in handy when there was no power during the Super Storm!

Well done!

Hey as long as it makes hot coffee and food. That's all you need! Maybe you need to come sit at the Eagles nest. I promise you would be inspired.

You read about people getting in trouble in the woods, and part of it is because they never started a fire

Doesn't seem flat enough for pancakes. Maybe if you switch the rocks.

I hope you were able to get a feed after your hunting the plastic looks a bit tasteless. I hope your muse comes back soon I know the feeling as most of what I have done lately has gone in the bin and the rest should have lol. ☺

Well, I've heard of having hot rocks before, but dang...... :-D

At least you don't have to scrape the dried grease out of the burner plates! LOL

Fun and cool shot, Mike!

You learn something new all the time. Very much more state of the art than old-school sticks.

Great shot. Looks like you don't need any modern utilities. This is sufficient!

Very interesting compact cooking devise indeed.

Would be a lot easier to tote around than an Cole-Man cooker.

I haven't camped or eaten in the forest in eons, so it's a lot of fun for me to see these types of shots in your gallery. I noticed the packet is in German. (You didn't fly out to Deutschland, did you? A long way to go for a hunt! Though I hear Germany's forests are exquisite.) Anyway, the stove looks totally protective, it won't over heat, and it won't set the rest of the area on fire. Forgive my ignorance, but I'm not sure if that packet is a heating element or if it also has food in it. It says "Ration Heater," so I assume it's just a heating element. IN any case, it makes a fine photo: Just in visual terms, I like the contrast of that smooth/wrinkled green package against the heavy blue rock; and that's a beautiful rock on top! And surrounded by the flat brush...A very appealing shot. (Honestly? If someone handed me that packet, I'd think, "do I blow this up? Does it float? Is there a raincoat inside?" I wouldn't be great company on a hunting expedition...you'd all be whispering, "who brought that asshole along...")
