Description

Pardon my indugence...Neil posted a Dornier Do335 model over on ShareCG... and as it is my favourite kite from the other side... I just had to!! As this model carries the wing mounted 30mm, destined for the B2 series heavy fighters, I did a quick retexture as the prototype Do 335 M14 RP + UQ from late 1944, on a late afternoon test flight from Oberpfaffenhofen. ( I need a few beers to pronounce that properly!!) .. and also explains why the 'P is a bit skew-wiff.... just couldn't get it to behave.. not even the threat of the Russian front would make it get 'back in line.. and as it is late down here and bedtime.. here'tis warts n all. Cheers Neil!! Hope every one is having a good week so far..

Cheers Martin, first 'out of the blocks' with this one and an excellent image..I had the same problem originally...there is a stretch in the mesh where the exhaust cut out is, a bit of juggling and re-sizing should find the 'sweet spot' where markings sit right. Thanks for the mention mate, always appreciated....

That's looking great- I've no idea why it flies but its got the looks of something awesome... I'm still scratching my head about how the rudder works with such a whopping propeller behind it.... the model looks great too!
