Clickbait headlines or "headlies" are headlines that get readers to click by promising a crazy or wacky thing, which usually isn't that crazy or wacky. The "headlie" usually includes phrases like "a huge shock" or "you wouldn't believe" or "restores your faith in humanity" instead of simply saying what actually happened.
