Yesterday I was given a gift from my daughter Angie....2 beautiful parakeets that I have fallen completely in love with....CJ Sparrow is a male and is named after Captain Jack Sparrow of Pirates Of The Carribean, he is shown on your right.... Lizzie is a powder blue female, much lighter in color then CJ.... This photo was taken with a cam so it's quality sucks but I wanted to share my babies with you.... and yes Dave dear, I do want to bring them back to California with me... PLEEEEEASE? And please tell Dusty the cat they are not dinner for him...LOL.

Hi Marcy, I love birds too. Had a cockatoo myself (Ceaser) many years ago. He turned out to be much more effort to keep than I had imagined. Sure your birds are welcome, but you get to figure out how to protect them from Dusty without closing off parts of the house that needs the air flow and train them not to sing early when we are sleeping in..lol. I did talk it over with Dusty however... and Dusty said to definitely bring them back here with you. He was dying to meat them. They are so pretty and cute and I'd love to have them here. But then.. I already have my own unsolved problems with excessive cat hair and dog barking.. so how much trouble could a couple of harmless little birdies be? Hugs and kisses from Dave :^)
