Description
I did a Photo Shoot at a Civil War re-enactment weekend in New Mexico this spring, with Civil War re-enactors from all over the country. I found some on the microdrive of my camera, which for some reason never got erased. The ones that were left on it were ones that were not needed for the client I was doing the job for. It occurred to me that people might have an interest in having these to use as backgrounds....for those who are Civil War buffs or whatever. Everything is historically correct. The actors have to wear accurate period clothes and use accurate period props. Many of them use actual ones from that period. Others use historically accurate copies. Everything is historically accurate. I have a number of photos that I think would work for backgrounds. I am putting this one in the gallery to see if people think there might be an interest in them if I were to put them in the freebie section. So, please leave a comment letting me know what you think. Then I will have to figure out how to put them in the freebie area. lol.

That was fun to see, this is what I did in Tombstone AZ. I was a Tombstone Vigilante and did re-enactments of the day of Doc Holiday and the Gunfight at the OK Corral. This brings back many memories for me. Thanks! And I'm sure we could do a project together when you get back! ~Big Hugs~

Ah, I can almost imagine the commanding officer yelling for his men to get loaded and ready for a fire by company. Really gets me in the mood for the Washington, La reenactment in a couple of weeks. An excellent picture!

Wonderful photographs. Nobody has addressed the question you asked so I will. I think you should put these and the others you have in the freebie section. The Photos would stimulate the imagination of many people. Good backgrounds can do that I think. So go for it....Cant help you with how to put them in there, but that is no surprise is it ? HUGS

Goodness I saw the top one and thought it was real, and how exhausted they all looked. And the bottom one really got me, too.:o) These are marvelous and I'm sure would make super backgrounds. Reinactmentss are so fascinating. CC
