That is until he receives a telegram telling him to go back out the Deadwood and meet up with a special US Marshall (Keane) and a special envoy (Van Light) as quickly as possible. Marshall Highway quickly learns there was way more to his discovery, and the two he meets up with than he could have imagined. And if he's lucky he might live to tell the tale.
