Description

I hardly ever post photographs but thought I'd share this one with everyone. I've just got back from a family holiday in Fuerteventura (one of the Canary Islands) and there were a few areas along the beach where these adorable creatures would run up to you and actually take food from you if you held it out for them. They are of course Chipmunks and how original is the name we came up for this one ... 'Chippy', LOL. Enjoy ... Tony.

What a great photo Tony! I love these little guys. There's a place in Colorado Springs called 7 Falls where there are lots of chipmunks that come out and take food from your hand and I could spend hours there....lol

hi tony,then you have been just 2 flight hours away from me,i am on the Costa Blanca wich is in the west-mediterranean if you wish. great shot you took,why not posting a photo ,this here is a shot i dont see every day so its ok to me-laugh. yes chippy is all right,like doggy or api or elefanti,etc-how about gorilli--very innovative - imao-hehehehe.
