No, not a repost. I did this a few weeks ago in Cinema 4D and decided to try something similar in Vue 5. The chess pieces where modeled by me in C4D, except for the knight, which was imported from Poser. Thanks for taking a look.

Blurred reflexions are a bit noisy, which didn't happen in your C4D render. I don't know which one I prefer, they both have different qualities. The Vue render looks more realistic because it is less shiny, but has noisy artifacts. The C4D one is falwless, and doesn't look as real. XLT work on both, anyway.
