Description

Cernunnos (the horned god) was worshipped by the Iron Age 'Celts' all across Europe as late as the first century AD and his worship probably begun centuries before that. This particular one is in my garden and was a 40th burthday present from my wife Fiona. It's beautiful, but bloody heavy! Thanks, Mak

Quite a fearsum looking face, it's hard to tell the dimensions from your capture but I pressume it's a complete statue and yes it does look heavy, also do you include Britain in all across Europe.

Thanks chaps: is just a head made of forced concrete and metal, whih is why it's so heavy. Stands about 60cm tall. Chris: Yes, Cernunnos was worshipped in certain parts of Britain.

pleased to see the Celts mentioned, I used to belong to a Celtic pagan group and learnt how organised and clever they were.
