Description

A pair of Canada Geese, near our home, had 9 goslings. They were spread out when I got there and Mom and Dad were trying to get them all grouped together. The best I could do was get a group of 7 and as you can see, Dad was hissing at me, because I was getting to close! They looked to be about a month old. It will zoom for best details. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

We have tons of these around here - they're almost to a nuisance level. I had to stop a couple weeks ago to let a bunch of them cross the street at an office park. They didn't hurry to get out of the way, either. They just ambled across the street, a few even looking at me like "you got a problem, dude??" LOL Next they'll be carrying Iphones and ghetto blasters.... Cool shot, Dana. Glad "dad" didn't rush you.

They do give you the 'look' when they are blocking the road.

They grow so fast. I took another photo of the Swan family the other day. The swanlings are so much bigger now. Thanks for sharing the goose family with us.

They look relaxed as dad is keeping watch. My uncle had a farm & we used to visit, when we asked if we could go out & play, he would tell us he had better put the gander in first. Ganders can be terrors :o))) xxxx

What a great shot, Dana! You were so lucky to see and photograph the whole family and I like the green surroundings as opposed to in the water. Lovely shot!
