Description

Lucky last - you are looking now South (towards Sydney direction, 8 -10 hour drive by car!) the gorgeous stretch of water and bay you are seeing is Tallows Beach, very popular with surfers and swimmers. I hope you liked this little stint to Byron Bay, only an hour drive from our home, it's worth a trip - methinks, what do you think ? Cheers Brigitte

It definitely is a beautiful place. Especially with that blue sky and sunshine. Where I am it's cold and wet right now, so I could really use some of your sun (although our drought has finally ended, so I guess I shouldn't complain).

Woaaaah! The sun, the ocean, the holidays... a dream, lol! A long time ago I did not spend time at the seaside 😭 Superb series, the beach is splendid, and I like the photo2 a lot, with this amazing rocky coast like Bretagne in France. Great captures, you are living in a fantastic country, my friend! 😃

I love the turquoise color of the water. We have the beaches but not the water color here in California. And talk about a clear image. In your eastern shot you can see all the way to the curvature of the earth. How I miss the Southern Hemisphere. I will have to correct that soon.

Wow Brigitte you sure have shared one of your amazing places to visit.

There is no way in this life time we could afford to go the Australia.

We have some beautiful beaches around here but nothing like this.

Have to go to either the West or East Coast.

All the pictures make me envious--- especially when we have four inches of snow and freezing temps.

Thanks for sharing and enjoy the beaches while you can-- your winter is on its way-- LOL.

The latter is overwhelming, dear Gitti. I'm totally mesmerized by the sight, plus photographs. where you will see the people as little dots, running on an immense world (globe) .The pictures are all of superb quality, and so admirable, they should be in a big book, that anyone could buy. Man, I'm (a bit much, ha, ha) jealous, you only have to go one hour by car, and you can enjoy all this fantastic event. Top class, my dear friend. The colours on this one, I can't get enough of them, really!!!. btw, is it Jeff on the first photo on the right? Hugs to your country, and to you both 😅

I didn't tell you, when these went up, how upset I was that you turned off comments for the first 3! Lol---now I gotta comment on all 4 in one comment! (Truly---they are all worthy of comment.) Ok, so I hope you remember them...

1st shot: Just love the clarity you got on these shots. This baby has such wonderful whites, with blue shadows, and I love the tower on the right, with that white-outlined walkway on the left, and the greenery and rocks in between. And the rest of the shot? Rich, rich deep blue sky. A wonderful shot. And the person closest to the camera---Jacomina asked if that was Jeff? Yes? Well the person adds just the right touch. Love that shot.

2d shot: (Be glad you didn't post 40...) Again, wonderful clarity on these. The detail on the jutting land is wonderful, Brigitte, and the white spray around it---on the ocean---is wonderful contrast. As is the deep blue in the further water. Your sky is gorgeous too---is this how your skies are, a lot of the time? Because if it is, I'll be there by Saturday! I love the composition too---the land juts out into that big, big ocean. Great rich greens and deep ambers. Man that's a wonderful shot.

3d shot: (there will be a quiz, btw) More fine detail in the rock. And another fine composition, with the land jutting up to that outlook point. And the greens and yellows and olive-like hues are wonderful contrast to that ocean. You can see New Zealand? Hell, I can see Brazil! (I've got, like, reeeeeeealllllly good eyes...) Fine composition, and the big black shadow on the left---bottom half---is a fine accent too. You live in freakin' paradise, madame!!!

Last shot: Gorgeous pan-shot of the ocean washing ashore in this paradise-like shot. Such deep greens in that water, against those wonderful white washes. And the beach with the little specks for people. And that gorgeous land in such deep greens. Your including the railing in front 'grounds' the picture with a reference point. A terrific shot, Brigitte. The hues on the beach---how they change as we move towards the trees---is terrific.

I've often spoken of your highly creative design sense: But I haven't seen enough of your straight photography. Madame? You take beautiful shots! These were gorgeous photography.

Ok, pencils down. Papers will be graded tomorrow...

(Great shots! Every one of them! It's great to see these vast overviews of what surrounds you...)

...as mentioned to Jacomina, [nobody we know]... sorry about the other 3 MIA photos Mark !... LOL ! I primarily did this, because I am running short of time, to answer every other post with all those kind replies, as I should and I feel seriously guilty, by not doing so... my bad, I know ! I would love to, but... so sorry...😥
