Description

On Stella's walk we came across this bunker. We do have them on the sea front looking out to see, they guarded the River Humber. This is what it said about this one:- This casemate is of type Lincolnshire three-bay. During World War II, these bunkers were used for the defense of the United Kingdom against a possible enemy invasion. They were built in 1940 and into 1941, Thanks for the lovely comments, so appreciated. x

That's very interesting--sort of creepy too--Let's hope no more World Wars because it could end quite badly for all. See that Stella has her ball--no surprise :) She looks happy.
