Description

This one actually started as an exercise in lighting and ended up as an experiment in post-processing. The original model is the Natural History Museum in London, modeled by Alvaro Luna Bautista and Joel Anderson and is available as a free download from 3drender.com. While trying out various lighting scenarios I started adding and subtracting elements of the original model, replacing windows and columns and so on, and ended up with a huge library scene. I had books from floor to ceiling but couldn't get the feeling right, it always looked fake and more like a movie set. So I figured I should model a movie set :) I will upload a nighttime version as well. Rendered with Maxwell Render and post-processed in Photoshop using several images generated by Dynamic Auto-Painter.
