A new work from Tom! I love this series---and I love this wild phantasmagorical moth-like thing. The middle protrusions (wings?) are like human flesh. And you carry the flesh tones into that intricate design in the center. The center of these bugs is where you go all wild on us, with intricate motifs (some feeling ancient), all woven in with intricate patterns, kaleidoscopic patterns, patterns right out of fairy tales and Hindu tales and the medieval Celtic manuscripts, etc etc. And this one has tones similar to those 'wings'. Plus upper and lower protrusions (its other 4 legs) that are like beautiful glass tubings, spinning out into space. Terrific. Happy New Year, and I hope 2020 brings you and all your loved ones a wonderful, healthy and inspired new year!
