A change of pace here. Mrs. W is the photographer and the subjects are Aliquot (aka Tennis-Ball Head) and our new ferret girl: Item. That is what the receipt said: 1 ITEM. Who are we to argue? Anyhow, Item is going through a very rough time with the other ferrets: it's hazing time. Lots of upsmanship, screeching, etc. but the little girl has found some friends who really like her: Aliquot and Donna -- the cats. They look for her and she looks for them. The chase games are absurd -- two cats being chased by a very small, very determined baby ferret who leaps up at them and bites their tails and paws if they don't react appropriately. Well, we were surprised to see this. They are sleeping on a cat ledge and Item made her way up there herself. (It's a low ledge and you would be amazed at the "Alley Oop!" strength in these little critters when they want to climb something. Well, enough cat and rat saccharin for today.
