Description
This is not a negative image and not a positive.
A little bit of both. This river connects to the
Atlantic Ocean and is tidal, when the ice forms in
the winter it is always rising and falling.
This is some kind of pipe supported by a steel
beam that spans the river.

It must be pretty neat to see the ice rising and falling, I haven't seen a good layer of ice on a river since I lived in Nebraska. Very cool!

Dear Jack, another awesome B/W. The contrast really pops on this one, too. HMMM - and yet, there is soft sort of feel there also on the right. Very intriguing! A negative AND a positive - that's super imaginative! Did you start in B/W or did you shoot in color then digitally process to B/W? I can't tell exactly what I'm seeing, but something makes me think of color slide film. Great Work as always! Love, Meredith
