Description

WIP of an illustration technique I'm working to refine. I'm using the Flaming Pear India Ink filter, in conjunction with Photoshop, to create b&w line art for a Western game book. I didn't really do anything new in this image (as far as my technique goes). The hair and the outline techniques took the most work. I really need to try this with some lighter images so I can get more inking experience with this technique/process. With this image, I was mostly just shooting for speed and consistency with my other work. I think I'm close to having this nailed down and will be moving on to create some new images soon. This one will probably wind up as a small illo in our next book. The final image will be in b&w; the color background is just for posting here.
