Description

A photo taken at the Morikami Japanese gardens west of Delray Beach, Florida. It is very unique because it is not in the normal ceramic pot but growing in a shallow mound of dirt, covered with moss, on top of a concrete and stone shelf. It is about 2 feet (61cm) wide and maybe 30 inches (76cm) high. Taken with my old Minolta about five years ago. Please zoom! Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

Very different. It looks like it may be a Strangler Fig.

Wow, I've seen a lot of bonsai during my travels, but never one with so many branches. Reminds me of the Louisiana bayou. Excellent capture with your old Konica/Minolta DiMage. Considering it was a point and shoot camera, mine took super sharp fotos before it died.

It looks a very old Bonsai, I have seen a few grown like this as one of the exhibitors at the shows we do liked growing them this way except he used slate or sandstone.
