Bobby (talking to himself): Okay… so where is this dagger?
Bobby: Oh wow… look at this place. Yeah, this isn’t creepy.
Bobby (finding the dagger): Seriously? It’s in a stone. Someone read too many human books.
(Sound of stone moving)
Bobby: What was that? Hello? Is someone there?
Bobby: Just get the dagger, Bobby, you’re creeping yourself out…. AHHHHHHHHH
(a large stone hand grabs Bobby and tosses him to another hand, and then another…)
Bobby: LET GO! WHAT ARE YOU? HELP... AHHHHHHH…. STOP IT! I’M SUPPOSE TO BE HERE, DARAI SENT ME! STOP!
Multiple voices: Kill it… it is not Crow… crush it… it is Raven… pull its wings off…
Bobby: NO NO, Don’t kill it… I mean don’t kill me, Darai sent me.
Multiple voices: It lies… Raven lies… Ravens always lie… kill it…
Bobby (hanging upside down now from between the fingers of one of the hands): I’m not lying, let go… I’m supposed to get the Talon Dagger, the Cettise are coming, Darai told me to come get the Dagger.
Multiple voices: Kill it… kill the Raven liar… crush it… no, ask it a riddle… then crush it… riddle, yes… ask it a riddle… crush it first, then ask it a riddle…
Bobby: I can’t answer a riddle if you crush me first.
Multiple voices: riddle… we will ask it a riddle… if it answers the riddle correct, it may take the Talon Dagger… if it answers wrong, we will crush the Raven trespasser.
Bobby: Okay, a riddle is good. Can you put me down first?
(Bobby is released and lands head first in the water)
Bobby: Umph… ow… I said put me down, not throw me down. Okay, what’s the riddle?
Multiple voices: Why is a Raven like a writing desk?
Bobby: Umm… that riddle sounds familiar, give me a second to think.
Special Notes: Can you help Bobby solve the riddle?

According to Google "Because it can produce a few notes, tho they are very flat; and it is never [nevar in original] put with the wrong end in front!" I never remember riddles or jokes, but - even one handed - I can do a search. Hope it helps get him out of this fix.
Hmmmm. A magical item found in a cave by the hero, and a dangerous cave resident who wants to play riddles.... Sounds strangely familiar for some reason.... (scratches head) 🤔
I'm loving this story more and more with each page - great illustration, too!
