La chef de projet reposa la feuille sans y jeter un regard et pointa les lignes de codes sur l’écran. « Ah, je vois une erreur de débutante ! » marmonna-t-elle d’un air agacé. Je ne suis pas là pour ces plaisanteries, puisque vous aimez tant le papier, je vous conseille d’éplucher le manuel du code et de trouver rapidement votre erreur.

The project manager put the sheet down without looking at it and pointed to the lines of code on the screen. “Ah, I see a rookie mistake! She mumbled annoyedly. I am not here for these jokes, since you love paper so much, I advise you to go through the manual of the code and find your mistake quickly.

J'adore le côté "réaliste" de la scène, mais dont certains éléments font décoller de la réalité: bien sûr le code en fond qui évoque la préoccupation des deux personnages, mais aussi les évènements qui se déroulent sur le bureau depuis la première image, vélo, puis cycliste, ici sans doute en pose... souvenirs ou projets de la débutante ?

Merci beaucoup.Pour répondre à ta question plutôt "projets", ou "réalité augmentée" ou encore "avoir un petit vélo dans la tête". Pour moi, il faut traiter ces différentes strates de réalité avec le même degré d'importance ou de détachement, si l'on veut conserver la libre circulation du sens (c'est le cas de le dire) dans ces images.

Another lovely and imaginative narrative scene. The poses are very well observed, especially the slightly stiff-backed attentiveness of the young programmer.

Typiquement l'attitude des chefs que je déteste... On l'appelle pour un problème, ils partent en nous laissant pédaler dans la semoule....

il y en a, en effet. Pour en revenir au récit, dans toute dramaturgie de quête, la construction de l'opposant est primordiale, pour les tensions de son développement.

I was going to guess that the rookie mistake was the lack of a closing head tag, but I think that probably appears after the script tags. And I'm thinking maybe the mistake isn't visible to us, only to her boss? Looks like the tiny bicyclist is holding off on riding away on the tiny bicycle for now! Hmm, could she be responsible for the rookie mistake, perhaps out of mischief?!

Thank you very much for your interpretation. The mistake I chose is what Hitch would have called a "Mc Guffin": something essential for the protagonists, but negligible for the viewer. What is certain is that this error connects the characters (big and small) in the dramaturgy. Its full revelation will of course appear in the penultimate and final frame; meanwhile enjoy the trip. For example, I wanted the presence of the text in the image to reinforce the meaning of certain elements of the code: in this image the term "scope" is placed near the glasses of the rookie programmer.

Joli travail sur les expressions des visages

la jeune programmeuse a les yeux saturés de reflets par ses lunettes et n'y voit rien, tandis que sa chef, plus âgée, a pourtant une acuité visuelle et intellectuelle, certaines. C'est la situation stéréotypée de l'élève qui se fait réprimander par le maître.
