Description

I whipped this up as a proof of concept for a cover to a binder that will be used at a meeting. The various documents one the table are actual documents from the materials (I generated PDFs of the pages, opened them in Photoshop and then imported them as textures in Strata). The Globe is a free item available from the Strata community Web site (I rotate it so that it would feature the part of the world where the meeting is being held). For me, the most interesting thing was the glass paper weight of their logo. It was simple, but in the full-resolution image, it had some nice refractions of the underlying text. Likewise, the two metal objects have some cool reflections. Alas, they didn't go with this design. Instead, we're using a stock photo of a bunch of business guys. Yawn. :-) NOTE: Since this is a real person's data, I've blurred the name. In the actual print, everything was crystal clear.

I feel your pain...Did a poster for a multi-cultural fair and they hated the use of photo clip art when they turned around and used Vector clip art of people of different nationalities all lined up in a row...ahhuugg! Cool looking image a real eye catcher!!
