Description

Another shot of a few more of these musrooms, I love so much. The biggest, you saw yesterday, was in diameter about 10 INCHES, so you can understand, I was thrilled. Because I have been drawing and discribing finds for a museum for 3 years once, I built up a good eye for measuring, so trust me, it was that big and that is why I bothered sneaking into a strangers garden :) I wish you all a beautiful weekend. It seems the summer isnt over yet here. They promise sun and around 20C for the weekend. AMAZING. Thanks for viewing and commenting. :)

I believe you, my friend, I've seen big ones too; haha, one could use them for protecting against the rain. Thereby they are edible, but that you know for sure I guess. Great that you've drawing them for a museum, Helle. 👌

A marvelous capture, like parachutes descending on a sward of endless greenery, Helle. Very lovely shrooms to appreciate. Weather here still hot, dry and cloudless. Hope it finally cools off with some rain by December.

Yeah these are big, even if they're not the biggest one. I believe you too (about the size of that last one). They're like visitors. And spaced out so much on the lawn. So you got some of these (or all of them) in a neighbor's lawn? Lol---anyone come out and tell you to go away? I assume you know your neighbors. AMazing how they only pop up in a few spots, I guess their seed (or spores) aren't very prolific. Wonderful, both this and the last one. Little umbrellas for insects...
