Small river arm, called "bief" in french.
V5I trees modified in SoliGrowth, small boat by me in Cinema4D, House by me in Vue, Grass by Bigbraader, no PW but signature, 3 hours rendering in Super, global ambiance.
Not full satisfied with the scale of the boat, but working on this pict for days, I give up now ! (leaving to hollidays tomorrow).
Hope anyway you'll like it. Thanks for things you'll like to let here!

Carpe diem indeed - you HAVE seized the moment - I feel lucky I decided to look at what's new right now, or I woud have sadly missed this one. I could live in a place like that! I come from Sicily, so from rugged and at time harsh beauty, so the softness of your image does appeal to me - very much.

Hi again :) Very peaceful image, beautiful composition , as always! The water look very good ! However, the trees you chose lack detail, in full view they are pixellated and one can see obvious transmapped planes. This could be easily fixed with a little postwork. But it's just details ^^ I visited the AOM nominated Vue galleries, and I was thinking they could have picked you too !

Soothing image. I just put it up as my desktop wallpaper. That, as a layman. Pure pleasure. As an artist, Jean-Marie, there's so much for me to learn from this image, so thank you! Composition, lights, colours, use of detail....everything!

Bonne Vacances

I can see what you mean about the scale of the boat but it is a very beautiful image non-the-less! Your work is wonderfully soothing after a hard day at work! Thank you!
