ça se lit comme une fable de La Fontaine.
Je me suis inspiré du cahier des charges de la conception de la 2CV : « Faites étudier par vos services une voiture pouvant transporter deux cultivateurs en sabots, cinquante kilos de pommes de terre ou un tonnelet à une vitesse maximum de 60 km/h pour une consommation de trois litres d’essence aux cents.
En outre ce véhicule doit pouvoir passer dans les plus mauvais chemins, il doit être suffisamment léger pour être manié sans problème par une conductrice débutante. Son confort doit être irréprochable car les paniers d’œufs transportés à l’arrière doivent arriver intacts malgré les ornières. »
It reads like a La Fontaine fable.
I was inspired by the specifications of the 2CV design: Have your services study a car that can carry two farmers in hooves, fifty kilos of potatoes or a barrel at a maximum speed of 60 km/h for a consumption of three litres of petrol per cent.
In addition this vehicle must be able to pass in the worst ways, it must be light enough to be handled without problem by a novice driver. Its comfort must be irreproachable because the egg baskets carried to the back must arrive intact despite the ruts.”

Interesting specification it had. Going by your title I think the girl in the red dress represents the city and the other in the overall represents the country and well that car got used in both. And her holding the egg is the reference to the specification. Splendid work on the image.

C'est vrai que la 2CV a été pendant longtemps une voiture de la campagne avant d'être celle de de la jeunesse. J'en ai possédé une il y a bien longtemps! Quant au cahier des charges, il y a un petit côté "macho" avec l'allusion à la "conductrice débutante"! En tous cas, j'aime beaucoup cette image!

Mon père, artisan, m'a trimballé pendant des années dans sa CV fourgonnette. Heureusement que le machisme a reculé, même si le combat continue ; quant à conduire avec des sabots...

Excellente image, le cahier des charge d'Andrée Citroën parait toujours aussi exotique...

Il faut attribuer à Pierre-Jules Boulanger, alors PDG de Citroën, ce cahier des charges de la TPV (Très Petite Voiture) qui a fait rire les collaborateurs chargés de sa conception. Il aurait ajouté : "je vous précise que son esthétique m'importe peu."

La Fontaine est présent aussi par le souvenir du rat de ville et du rat des champs. Ici ce sont plutôt des souris...

A la lecture du titre je m'attendais à une image sur la banlieue... Bien vu, il y a de jolies forêts en banlieue
