Description

After having a stroke in 2010 I joined a social club for disabled people - mostly stroke victims. For fun, the club has organised various activities. This shot comes from a bunch we took on week one at a photography course we are doing where we get to play with professional cameras under the tutalage of a pro-photographer. The lady is one of the group's carers whose job it was to make sure I didn't fall flat on my face................ This was taken with my cannon powershot a490, but cropped and reduced in size for uploading.

My father-n-law just recently had a stroke (just turned 70)and I myself wasn't aware that you had..I know hearing things like I'm sorry to hear isn't usually what most want to hear...but just to say...I am sorry to hear. By this capture here you appear to be doing wonders with therapy but then again I don't know how severe yours was at the time.My father-n-law has a very noticeable draw and sag to his left side and has to start seeing a therapist to see if he can regain his speech and will be accompanying him to see if there is anything I can do to help with his rehabilitation.I will say that you appear to be happy and I wish you all the best possible under the circumstances.....(smiles)...

What a fantastic photo! I'm so glad to see you're doing well and that this isn't Maggie turned grey with you in the picture, lol. What I mean is it would be nice to see Maggie in a picture with you, but it's good to see you haven't caused her to age prematurely. Hugs.

Thanks for the comments, but the reason my wife wasn't in the shot is because she wasn't actually there with me at the time......;-)

Hey, I haven't been here in a while. Despite the incident you seem to be in high spirit, for which I am happy. Keep up your zest for life and special wit.
