Description

Finished with the shading. For the skin I used a painted texture and the DT3D SubSurface Scattering plugin. For the hair I used the hairTubeShader on the NURBS surface with a RAMP texture made up of a lot of thin stripes for the color. The clothing is also handpainted... C&C welcome and wait to see the animation ;)

She's looking pretty good. Can't wait to see the final product.

I don't know how I feel about those nipples. Looks like someone took two of those orange road-cones and stuffed 'em down her shirt. As for the clothing you could try turning down the specularity on the shirt to give it a feel of cloth, rather than a cellulose material. I can only hope that in the "final" render of this project you will up the render tessellation on the NURBS hair strands. Other than those minute issues it's looking rather capital. -Vyrias.

Hello. I was thinking on making those nipples a little smaller. They give the impression of her being cold or very very hot... For the fabric of the shirt I wasn't aiming at "fabric look". I actually have a shirt that looks like that material on the render. I was thinking, however, that I could use a color different than white for it. As for the hair, can do :D

Pretty darn good. The shadeing and stuff looks pretty good for a cartoon feel. Do you really need SSS though? Seems like the skin you got could really be replicated fairly easily by much faster methods.
