Description
"I can't believe it! This is a blatant ripoff of a Barye Phillips cover from the 60's!" Umm... guilty as charged ;) (edit- I earlier wrote that this was based on a Robert Maguire cover. I assumed as much by the dramatic lighting. Wrong, Phillips did it.) I just wanted to try my hand at this idea and I apologize from not coming up with something totally original this time. Of course, Maguire did a better job, and with real paint on canvas, to boot. But his curtains were gold, not cool dark blue velvet like mine. So there ;)
V4, rendered in Poser, thrown into a Photoshop taffy machine and pulled out a few hours later. Thanks for taking a look- Will

Can't say I'm familiar with the original (so I can't tell if this is a ripoff or not!), but I may have to change that. Whatever the origin and/or inspiration, this turned out great.

Will! I'm late coming in on this one, but you had to know I'd show my face sooner or later. This is.. classic Will... even though it may not be "originally" yours. I've spoken of your keen grasp on lighting before (at length even!) and this is another shining example of that attention to detail. And you know what? I love the lime green ;) I could reach out and touch the velvet... I owe you a long note. Expect one soon!
