Description

I always try to push my 1.4ghz as hard as I can, and I certainly did with this one. I created a mountain terrain 6400X6400, 80million polygons. The whole scene took 6 mins to load. I originally added a house with the trees but it looked out of place. Oh and the tiny spec near the mountain is a plane :D I don't know if I should remove that or not....? I wanted to get that feel of early morning fog creeping up the landscape, and by accident I found that the "cloud" object loaded near the camera producing a nice effect. I just tweaked the material/transparency a bit. Cheers JoeBlack

Looks great. I think I'd lose the plane since the viewer can't tell what it is and it just looks like an accidental speck

That's a great scene, well worth the title, perhaps one of the best quotes there is to explain ones urge to go climbing. Awesome scene, I wish I had something like that for a view :o)
