I already loved the image you had created in honor of your son, and I found extraordinary personification you in doing ... the light is beautiful this time, but people on the illness represented by a dark light!!!

I was impressed enough by this to go back and check out the original image ( http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2173012&comment_page=2#comments ). While that was very nice, you improved things greatly by placing light across the tiger's eyes/head. It's just a stronger composition this way. I really like the colors, muted tones, and the use of purples and lavenders. It just evokes so much mood. The one thing that might improve it more is the placement of the tail. On one hand, it looks like it's caressing her, which I like. But on the other hand, I first thought it was her tail (like maybe this was some sort of furry image). I don't really have a suggestion as to what to do differently with the tail, but I do ask if that's the best location for it? Of course, I'm just nitpicking -- this is an incredible image. It really reminds me of something that would have been on the cover of a fantasy novel back in the 1990s -- especially the Dungeons & Dragons novels from that time. This is really great -- thanks for sharing it with us.

Thank you for your suggestion. I hadn't noticed that about the tail. I do see what you mean though. This rework was all postwork. I will have to to go back in and rerender to change the tail. perhaps I will at a later date. at the very least, that will be something to watch for with future renders. Thank you :)

I checked out the previous one for comparison and it was well worth your effort. The beast has much more of a presence in this and they seem more of a team.

I've been gone for a bit, but I saw this when you uploaded it, and I compared it with the earlier version, and I saw immediately that you'd added light to the animal's head and front, and even some to his/her tail. The image was beautiful and moody before, but now it has a presence it didn't have before. Like some have said, the animal's brighter lighting makes it more of a "team" with the woman (the beastmaster). They are more a duo than a master and her beautiful beast. It also brings out the fierce but strangely gentle nature of your beast, and we see more of the beautiful texture of his chest and the front of his legs. It makes him more radiant, in a subtle way. And the tail's added light gives more definition to that darker portion of the image; and because you put the tail behind the woman, she seems to be cradled by the beast, held and even protected by him, because the tail makes it feel like she's right in the center of him, as he wraps his tail around her. This was present in your earlier version, but not as much: Here, the tail has a much more pronounced presence, which brings out that 'embracing' quality more. It has a partner feeling, where they both look out for each other. Other than that, the image still has that deep of night feeling, yet with light pouring through it, because of your light-in-the-midst-of-night lighting. It's something you do beautifully throughout your offerings. And the dark from which the two emerge is more pronounced, because there's more light next to it (it makes the dark stand out by contrast). It's still a beautiful image, with dark mystical overtones. And the partnership of the two is all the more beautiful. More fine work from you, Sandy, and it's always wonderful when you upload for us, here. I hope you're doing well, and that all is going well with your health, and with your loved ones. I was really happy when you uploaded again. This is a beautiful improvement.
