Description
For you Frazetta and horse lovers..
Here's another Frazetta inspired scene that was created in 3DSMax and rendered using Vray and Photoshop for hair&fur drawing.
To recreate realistic horse hair, I hand painted all details using the Wacom21UX tablet. The armor was textured with procedural Vray shaders and the scene was lit with a sun and 2 accent lights. HDRI and AO was used to create occlusion effects and reflections. There are also many other aspects of the scene which I spent time on to create, and there's much too see.
